    This package contains a nearly complete set (about 50) of the issues of the Pennsylvania Crier, a newsletter published by the Pennsylvania Committee to Save Our Local Governments, from 1972 to 1979, with several more recent articles. These documents explain how the federal government has attempted to destroy local governments and replace them with regional governments. They contain maps and discussions of regionalism in various States in the U.S., and of regionalism in foreign countries. They explain how regional planning, zoning, land use regulations, and building codes are used to control taxpayer funds, merge local governments, and replace elected representation with appointed bureaucracy. They also expose the Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations (ACIR), the agency for change to bring America under bureaucratic socialism.
